In relation to school travel, we appreciate that there have been the usual teething issues you would always experience due to the fact that these are new bus routes and Denman Prospect is still a relatively new suburb. In response to this, over the past couple of years we have accommodated early departures for learners due to bus schedules and the lack of a school transport service. However, this is not a sustainable model moving forward and we ask our school community to support us with respecting the formal school opening and closing hours
- In 2025, we are no longer able to accommodate early departures for students. All learners will be expected to remain at school until the official dismissal time at 3pm
- Please note that the buses generally run every 30 minutes
- If there are students who have legitimate wellbeing reasons for leaving early, then this needs to be discussed and documented with our Wellbeing Hub staff or Senior Campus or Junior Campus Deputy Principal. This may also require a formal exemption certificate.
