Whenever we run excursions or activities for learners at Evelyn Scott School, we endeavour to communicate these events and any necessary paperwork in as many ways as possible to make it easy and convenient for families. Excursion notes are emailed home to parent/carer contacts and paper copies are kept at the front office for any families who request a hard copy of a note. We are working to ensure these notes are accessible to everyone
Notes can be returned via our school email: evelynscottschool.information@ed.act.edu.au or handed in directly at the front office (junior campus) or wellbeing hub (senior campus).
We kindly remind families that we require parent/guardian permission, and in some cases payment, for learners to be able to attend these events. We provide a cut off date on all notes, which allows us the necessary administrative time to process permission notes and payments prior to the event. Often we are required to confirm final numbers of attendees with venues in the days leading up to an excursion and this can be difficult when notes are returned after the final date or indeed on the day of an event. We will no longer be able to accept late payments or permission notes for excursions or activities after the cut off date unless there is a valid reason provided. We appreciate your understanding.
